About Me... |
I am a maverick art-science curator and information experience designer. I enjoy conceptualising and producing exhibitions and cultural programmes at the interface of art, science and technology.
As a Brooks International Fellow at Tate Modern I conducted research on emerging technologies particularly AI and their role in reshaping the experience of cultural spaces. Previously I was the Head of Exhibitions and Programmes at Science Gallery Bengaluru (SGB), the worlds largest and the only asian member of the international Science Gallery network. Work Experience: Since 2018, I have led the programmes team at Science Gallery Bengaluru to curate contemporary art-science exhibition-seasons, learning and mentorship programmes for young adults, community, offsite and digital initiatives, and pop-up exhibitions. These include ELEMENTS (2019), SUBMERGE (2020), PHYTOPIA (2020), CONTAGION (2021), PSYCHE (2022) and CARBON (2023). CONTAGION was also one of the winners of the Falling Walls Prize for Breakthroughs in Science Engagement in 2021. PSYCHE was showcased at the Wellbeing’s Summit in Bilbao, Spain in 2022. I collaboratively developed programmes with several cultural spaces internationally including ZKM | Centre for Art and Media Karlsruhe, HKW Berlin, Ars Electronica Linz, Science Gallery Melbourne and more. Achievements: I was one of the 2024 Brooks International Fellows hosted by Delfina Foundation and Tate Modern. I was also a part of Berlin Biennale Curators Programme 2022, a Khoj Curatorial Intensive South Asia Fellow 2021 and a member of the Ars Electronica Creative Producers Programme 2021. I developed the "Xperimenter Programme" a learning and mentorship programme at SGB that was 2022 Finalist at Falling Walls Berlin in the Future Learning category. |
